Kinloch Campsite is a friendly family-run campsite in an amazing setting on the shores of Loch Dunvegan. Located in the northwest of the Isle of Skye, it is the only campsite on Skye with both a stunning waterfront location and easy access to all the services of a traditional Highland village.The camping site is on a former croft at the head of scenic Loch Dunvegan and is overlooked by MacLeod’s Tables, two distinctive flat-topped hills that dominate the skyline.
Accommodation
Hardstanding pitches for caravans, motorhomes, campervans, roof tents & folding campers. Not for tents.
Some awnings will be on gravel; they recommend rock pegs. Awnings on grass must be moved every 7 days to keep the grass alive.
Hardstanding pitches which are a bit smaller than their standard pitches. Motorhomes, caravans, roof tents & folding campers up to 6.5m only. No tents. No awnings except roll-out canopies. Cars must be parked away from the pitch.
Grass pitches with electricity for TENTS ONLY. Including 1 car parking space. Not available for roof tents, caravans, motorhomes or folding campers. Cables must have a Residual Current Device (RCD). Tents must move every 7 days.

Facilities
Hard standing pitches both with and without 10A 230v electric hook-up, large tent areas where campers can choose their spot to pitch their tents, direct access to the shores of Loch Dunvegan from the campsite, free hot showers and toilet facilities in the large, clean, and modern amenity block, purpose built accessible toilet and shower, shaver points and hair dryers, laundry facilities including large washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwashing room, chemical toilet and grey waste disposal points, free WiFi across the campsite, free use of sockets for charging device batteries, free use of freezer for refreezing ice packs and maps and information about the local area in reception.
