Wallace Lane Farm is a multi-award-winning, camping and glamping site on a 23-acre farm on the northern fringe of the Lake District National Park.
Accommodation
All of the hard standing pitches at Wallace Lane Farm are fully serviced, each fitted with its grey water drain, fresh water tap and electricity. The TV and Mobile network signals there are excellent, and benefit from free WiFi, good 4G coverage for WiFi and mobile and good Freeview TV coverage.
They also have both electric and non-electric tent pitches, with fully heated shower blocks as well as purpose-built family shower rooms - for added comfort.
Facilities
On site, you will find a small site shop, laundry room with washing machines/dryers as well as ironing facilities. The site has a mile-long dog walk around the grounds where a variety of wildlife from deer to honey buzzards are often seen. You can also walk across the hills to the village of Caldbeck, where there is a great pub for meals or a quick pint after your walk.
They also have free basic Wi-Fi available on their pitches as well as excellent mobile coverage on most networks. There are local shops as well as a Lidl supermarket in the nearby town of Wigton. The many visitor attractions of the Lake District are within a short drive from this peaceful site.
