Nethergong Camping is nestled in a beautiful valley in East Kent, with historic Canterbury and the seaside towns of Whitstable, Herne Bay, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Margate close by.
Their campsite is ideal for those who want a back to nature camping experience combined with good facilities. With no measured pitches you can choose whether to camp in their woods or one of their grassed camping areas surrounded by English broad-leaved trees. You can even camp by one of their lakes to watch the wildlife from your tent.
Accommodation
Their campsite is set in 26 acres of beautiful woodland and meadows. You can request your desired area. Check out their map to view full facilities.
Restaurant
Their brand new cafe is behind the main camping field. Reception and a small shop are also located inside the cafe. Their small shop is now located in thier brand new cafe behind the main camping field.
Facilities
They have showers, toilets, washing and clothes washing facilities in the stable and lean-to. Additional toilets, showers, washing up sinks and a chemical disposal point are situated halfway up the site in the old Tractor Shed. Drinking water taps are situated to the side of the left-hand stable, over the bridge to the field and outside the Tractor Shed. Recycling and non-recycling waste bins are by the main gate. Canterbury City Council accepts glass in its recycling. If you have any food you want to keep chilled or frozen you can use the fridge/freezers in the washing up lean-to.
